Hi everyone! I’m 22 years old and I work in an IT firm in Dublin, Ireland. I have many, many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, baking, cooking, drawing, reading, sewing and programming. I studied Multimedia and Computer Games Development in the University of Limerick, where I met many wonderful friends including Lany, who also runs this blog! I graduated in the summer of 2011 and have been working in a data management IT company ever since.

I love art and working with my hands. I’ve enjoyed this for most of my life. As a little girl I drew constantly and was given out to through out all of primary school for drawing and doodling in class and not paying attention. This continued on to secondary school where my love for arts and crafts grew. I would often spend as much of my homework time as possible drawing for art class.  It was in secondary school when I discovered my joy for baking as well.

When I went to college I often used arts, crafts and especially baking as a stress reliever and it was through these hobbies that I met some new friends. I’m also a programmer and enjoy games development but especially doing character designs for video games! When I graduated for college I discovered what it was like to have free time in the evenings and now I spend all of this time knitting, sewing, drawing, playing games and generally working on my hobbies. I take part in dance classes and pottery classes, as well as go to craft nights in the hacker space in Dublin city.

I’m hoping to update every Monday and Wednesday with all things crafty, arty and fun. Some posts may be posts about my favourite places in Dublin or my favourite things to do but I promise to try and make all of my posts as interesting as possible! I hope you enjoy!
