Mexican Salsa, anyone?
So, it’s friday and for those who feel kinda lazy to cook something very complicated, here I come with a mexican basic for any moment of the day, it’s fresh, very easy to elaborate and very delicious! It is called Pico de Gallo 😀
Here we go!
INGREDIENTS (for 4 people):
- 2 Red Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- Jalapeño Chiles ( not in vinegar is better)
- The juice of one lemon
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 Avocado (optional)
Cut the onion, tomatoes, and jalapeños (and avocado if you are using it) in little cubes, the onion must be really fine and take off the vein and seeds from the jalapeños before you cut it 😉 once everything is cut, place them in a bowl, add the lemon juice, a pinch of salt and black pepper and mix them all together.
You can add some coriander leaves on top to decorate 🙂
And that’s it! pretty easy, fresh and perfect as dip or for quesadillas or whatever you want!
